Local SEO services that put you in the map pack

Our local SEO services optimise your Google Business Profile, reviews, citations and location pages, so nearby customers find you first and call, book or visit.

Google Business Profile and the map pack

Why hire a local SEO company instead of doing it yourself

Local search looks simple from the outside: claim the profile, add photos, ask for reviews. In practice the Local Pack is decided by relevance, distance and prominence signals that span your Google Business Profile, your website, your reviews and the rest of the web, and most businesses only control one of them well.

We optimise for the Local Pack and Maps, not just organic

The three-business Map Pack sits above every organic result for local queries and gets most of the clicks and calls. We work on the signals that decide who appears there: primary and secondary categories, proximity to the searcher, review velocity and sentiment, profile completeness, on-site location relevance and local link prominence.

Reporting in calls, directions and leads

Rankings are a means, not the goal. Our monthly report shows Google Business Profile calls, direction requests, website clicks and bookings, plus form fills and tracked phone calls from organic traffic, broken down by location. You see which branch is growing and which needs attention.

Experienced team, direct contact

Your local SEO is handled by experienced specialists who work from data, not a checklist. Adrian Dąbrowiecki leads strategy; the same people who plan the work review every profile edit, every location page and every citation.

Visibility in AI answers for local queries

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews now answer “best dentist in Austin” or “emergency electrician near me” with a short list of businesses. They draw on Google Business Profile data, reviews, local directories and structured data. We make sure your business is one of the names they return.

Multi-location and franchise experience

From a two-clinic dental group to a 200-location retail franchise, we run location-level strategies at scale: profile management, store locator architecture, unique location pages, review programmes per branch and consolidated reporting.

No 12-month lock-in, free audit first

Monthly retainers with 30-day notice. We start with a free local SEO audit and a 90-day plan you keep whether or not you hire us. We earn renewal by growing your calls and bookings, not by contract length.

What our local SEO services include

A complete local search programme for businesses that serve customers in a specific city, region or service area. Scope is adapted to one location or hundreds.

01

Google Business Profile optimisation

Category selection, service and product listings, attributes, opening hours, Q&A, posts and photo strategy, plus ongoing protection against unwanted edits and suspensions. We also audit duplicate and unclaimed listings that split your signals.

02

Reviews strategy and reputation

A compliant review generation process (SMS and email requests, QR codes, post-service follow-ups), response templates that reinforce your services and locations, and monitoring of competitor review velocity. Reviews are the strongest conversion factor in the Map Pack.

03

Citations, NAP consistency and directories

Audit and cleanup of your name, address and phone data across Apple Maps, Bing Places, Yelp, industry directories and data aggregators. Consistent data builds trust with Google and keeps AI assistants from quoting outdated information.

04

Location and service-area pages

Unique, genuinely useful pages for each location or service area: local team, services offered there, directions, parking, reviews, FAQs and embedded map. No doorway pages, no spun text; pages that convert and comply with Google’s guidelines.

05

Local link building and digital PR

Links from local news sites, chambers of commerce, sponsorships, community events, suppliers and partners. Local prominence is a ranking factor for the Map Pack and for AI answers, and most competitors have almost none of it.

06

Local schema and technical SEO

LocalBusiness or a specific subtype (Dentist, Plumber, Restaurant, Attorney), Service, Review and FAQ schema per location, Core Web Vitals on mobile, click-to-call and a store locator that search engines can crawl.

How a local SEO campaign works with us

Six stages, the first two free. Single-location businesses move through them in weeks; multi-location brands get a rollout plan by region.

01

Free local SEO audit

We review your Google Business Profile, local rankings by grid (not just from one spot), reviews versus competitors, citations, location pages and local links. You receive the issues costing you calls and the three biggest opportunities.

02

Strategy and 90-day plan

Service and location keyword mapping, category strategy per profile, review targets per branch and the order of work: profile and citations first, then website and location pages, then reviews and local links.

03

Profile, citations and data cleanup

Fully optimised Google Business Profile(s), duplicates removed, Apple Maps and Bing Places aligned, NAP corrected across directories and aggregators. Usually the fastest visible win.

04

Website and location pages

Location or service-area pages, LocalBusiness schema, mobile speed fixes, click-to-call and internal linking from services to locations. For multi-location brands: a crawlable store locator and consistent templates.

05

Reviews and local authority

The review generation process goes live, responses are handled, and we start earning local links and mentions that build prominence in Google and AI answers.

06

Reporting and iteration

Monthly Looker Studio report with grid rankings, Google Business Profile insights, calls, direction requests, leads and revenue per location, plus a call to agree the next priorities.

How Google decides who ranks locally, and what we do about it

Google documents three local ranking factors: relevance, distance and prominence. Everything in a local SEO programme maps back to one of them.

Relevance: categories, services and content

Relevance is how well a profile and website match what the searcher typed. Your primary Google Business Profile category carries the most weight, followed by secondary categories, the services and products you list and the content of your landing page. We pick categories based on what competitors ranking in the Pack use and what your revenue depends on, then make sure the website confirms the same services and locations in its headings, copy and schema.

Distance: service areas and where you actually appear

You cannot move your office, but you can decide which queries you compete for. For a storefront business, rankings decay with distance from the pin, so we measure visibility with grid tracking across the city instead of a single ranking. For service-area businesses (plumbers, cleaners, movers) we hide the address where required, set a realistic service area and build service-area pages for the towns you genuinely serve, with content that proves it: jobs completed there, reviews from those customers, local partners.

Prominence: reviews, links and mentions

Prominence is how well known a business is, offline and online. Google reads it from review count and rating, from links and from mentions across the web, including news sites and directories. This is where most local businesses are weakest and where a local SEO agency adds the most. A structured review programme, a handful of real local links each month and consistent citations move Pack rankings in competitive cities more than any profile tweak.

“Near me” searches and mobile

A large share of local queries happens on a phone and includes “near me” or “open now”. Google interprets these from the device location, so the words themselves do not need to appear on your page; what matters is that your profile is complete, your hours are accurate, your site loads fast on mobile and calling or getting directions takes one tap. We test every location page on a real mobile connection, not just in a lab.

Location pages that are not doorway pages

Google penalises doorway pages: near-identical pages created for every town with only the place name swapped. A good location page has a reason to exist: the team at that branch, services and prices specific to it, photos of the premises, reviews left by customers there, directions and parking, local FAQs and an embedded map. For service areas without a physical office we build fewer pages with more evidence rather than one thin page per suburb. Our clients’ location pages rank because they would be useful even if Google did not exist.

Multi-location and franchise local SEO

Scale changes the problems. A 50-location brand needs profile ownership in one account with clear roles, a bulk-verified location group, templates that stay consistent while leaving room for local detail, a store locator that exposes every location to crawlers and a review programme franchisees will actually run. We build the governance and the reporting (per-location dashboards, alerts for suspended or edited profiles) so head office sees the whole estate and each manager sees their branch.

Local SEO in AI search

When someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini for “a good family lawyer in Manchester”, the answer is a short list drawn from Google Business Profile data, review platforms, local directories and articles that mention businesses by name. The same signals that win the Map Pack (complete profile, strong reviews, consistent NAP, mentions on trusted local sites) decide whether you are in that list. We add structured data and third-party mentions designed to be read by language models, and we track how often each location is named in AI answers for its core queries.

Local SEO across countries and languages

We run local campaigns in English, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish and Danish for businesses in the US, UK, Ireland and across Europe. Our international SEO team handles the country-level strategy; the city pages linked below cover local markets from London and Dublin to New York, Berlin and Stockholm. In Poland we also run dedicated local campaigns for Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Łódź, Katowice, Szczecin, Lublin and Bydgoszcz, described on the Polish version of this page.

What you get each month, and when local results appear

Transparent deliverables and realistic timelines. Local SEO is one of the fastest-moving SEO disciplines: profile and citation fixes often show within weeks, while reviews and local links compound over months.

Local SEO services: frequently asked questions

The questions business owners ask us most often before starting a local campaign. Our broader offer is described on the SEO services page.

What do local SEO services actually include?

Everything that influences how your business appears for searches with local intent: Google Business Profile optimisation, review strategy, citations and NAP consistency, location and service-area pages, local link building, LocalBusiness schema and reporting on calls, directions and leads. For multi-location brands it also includes profile governance and a crawlable store locator.

How much do local SEO services cost for a small business?

We quote after the free audit, because a single café in a small town and a law firm in central London face very different competition. A single-location retainer is sized to the work needed on your profile, citations, reviews and website; multi-location and franchise plans scale per location. There is no 12-month lock-in, and one-off projects such as profile suspensions are priced separately.

How long does local SEO take to work?

Profile and citation fixes often show within 2 to 6 weeks. Movement in the Map Pack typically appears in months 2 to 4, and measurable growth in calls and direction requests in months 3 to 6. Reviews and local links keep compounding for a year or more.

Do I need a website to rank in Google Maps?

You can appear in Maps with only a Google Business Profile, but in any competitive city the businesses that hold the top three spots have a website that confirms their services and location, collects reviews and earns links. A website also lets you rank in organic results below the Pack and be cited in AI answers.

Can you help with a suspended or duplicate Google Business Profile?

Yes. We diagnose the reason for suspension (address, category, name or guideline issues), prepare the evidence and reinstatement request, and clean up duplicate or unclaimed listings that split reviews and ranking signals between profiles.

Do you work with multi-location businesses and franchises in several countries?

Yes. We manage location estates across the US, UK, Ireland and Europe in English, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish and Danish, with one governance model, per-location pages and reporting, and a review playbook adapted to each market’s platforms.

Ready to win the Map Pack in your city?

Nearly half of all Google searches have local intent, and the three businesses in the Map Pack take most of the calls. Most of your competitors are relying on an unfinished profile and luck.

Send us your business name and city. We will reply with a local SEO audit, the three biggest opportunities we found and a 90-day plan, whether or not we end up working together.
