google.com · best project management softwareLink building services that earn real authority
Our link building services earn editorial links from relevant publications through digital PR and personal outreach, never link farms, so every new link supports your rankings.
What makes our link building services different
Most link building companies sell volume: a fixed number of links at a fixed DR, sourced from the same marketplaces every other agency uses. We sell links that would exist even if Google did not: placements on sites your customers read, in content that makes sense, with anchors that look natural because they are.
Four quality gates before any link is proposed
Every candidate site must pass all four: topical relevance to your niche, real organic traffic (we check it in Ahrefs and Semrush, not on a media kit), editorial placement inside the body of an article a human wrote for readers, and a clean outbound profile with no casino, pharma or essay-mill neighbours. DR or DA alone never qualifies a site.
Zero PBNs, link farms or "write for us" mills
We do not use private blog networks, sites that exist only to sell links, link exchanges or automated outreach tools blasting 10,000 webmasters. Those links are cheap for a reason: they stop counting after the next link spam update and can earn a manual action. Our placements survive core updates because they are the kind Google wants to count.
You approve every placement
Before we secure a link you see the target site, its traffic, the proposed topic and anchor text in a shared sheet. Nothing goes live without your sign-off. For regulated industries (finance, health, legal) we also run compliance checks on the publication.
International link building in 30+ markets
Native outreach in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Swedish and Danish, plus English for the US, UK, Ireland and Australia. Links from local publications in the market you want to rank in, not English links pointed at a German page.
Reporting tied to rankings and traffic
A live link report with URL, DR/DA, organic traffic, anchor, date and indexation status, plus a monthly view of referring domains, target page rankings and organic traffic. You see what the links are doing, not just that they exist.
Monthly plans, no 12-month lock-in
Link building packages run month to month with 30-day notice. The first backlink audit and 90-day link plan are free, whether or not you continue with us.
Link building tactics we use
No single tactic works for every site. We mix the eight below depending on your industry, budget and how competitive your target pages are, and we tell you in the plan which ones we will use and why.
Digital PR and data-led campaigns
Original research, surveys, indexes and expert commentary pitched to journalists at national and trade media. One strong campaign typically earns 10–40 referring domains from publications you cannot buy a link on, and it is the tactic that moves the needle most for competitive head terms.
Guest posts on real sites
Articles written by our senior writers for publications with genuine readership in your niche: industry magazines, SaaS blogs, retail and trade titles. We pitch an idea the editor wants, not a 500-word filler with a link crammed into the second paragraph.
Niche edits and link insertions
A contextual link added to an existing, already-ranking article where your page genuinely improves the piece. Fast to secure and strong because the host page already has authority and traffic. We only use pages that pass the same four quality gates.
Linkable assets and resource pages
Free tools, calculators, templates, original statistics and definitive guides built to attract links on their own, then promoted to resource pages, universities, associations and bloggers who curate exactly that kind of content.
Journalist requests, unlinked mentions and broken links
Daily monitoring of journalist requests (Qwoted, Featured, Help a B2B Writer and their European equivalents), reclaiming brand mentions that forgot the link, and replacing dead links on relevant pages with your working resource.
SaaS, partner and local citation links
For SaaS: listings and reviews on G2, Capterra and alternative/comparison sites, integration and partner pages, and co-marketing content. For local and multi-location businesses: consistent NAP citations in the directories that matter in each country.
How our link building process works
A transparent six-step process. You see targets before we pitch them, approve every placement and get a live report from day one.
Free backlink audit
We analyse your backlink profile and your three strongest competitors’: referring domains, authority distribution, anchor text, link velocity and toxic links. You learn exactly how big the gap is and which pages need links to move.
Link strategy and 90-day plan
Target pages, the number of links per page per month, anchor text distribution (branded, partial, generic, exact), the tactics we will use and the markets we will cover. Signed off together before any outreach starts.
Prospecting and vetting
We build a prospect list for each target page and run every site through the four quality gates: relevance, traffic, editorial standards and outbound profile. Typically 10 prospects are checked for every link we end up securing.
Your approval
Approved prospects, proposed topics and anchors land in a shared sheet. You accept, reject or adjust. Nothing is pitched or published without your go-ahead.
Outreach, content and placement
Personalised outreach by native speakers, content written by senior writers and edited for the host publication, placement secured and verified live, indexed and dofollow where agreed.
Reporting and iteration
Monthly report: links delivered with full metrics, referring domain growth, ranking and traffic movement on target pages. We shift budget towards the tactics and pages that respond best.
Link building for SaaS, e-commerce and international brands
The three situations we are asked about most, and how the approach differs for each.
SaaS link building
SaaS companies compete for commercial keywords where the top results are dominated by comparison sites, review platforms and competitors’ own “alternatives” pages. Our SaaS SEO link building programme focuses on the pages that actually convert: feature pages, “[competitor] alternative” and “X vs Y” comparison pages, integration pages and the bottom-of-funnel guides that feed the pricing page. Tactics that work especially well for SaaS are integration and partner co-marketing links, inclusion in “best tools for” listicles that already rank, original benchmark data journalists quote, and founder commentary in B2B media. For Landingi we combined this with international content and the result was +375% organic traffic and 8,200+ keywords in the top 3.
E-commerce link building
Online stores struggle to attract links to category and product pages, because nobody links to a category naturally. We solve it in two ways: linkable content assets (gift guides, sizing tools, material guides, trend data) that earn links and pass authority internally to the categories that sell, and product-led digital PR: seasonal stories, product seeding to niche publications and expert commentary for shopping and lifestyle media. For stores on Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento this runs alongside our ecommerce SEO services so technical and content work compound with the links.
International link building in 30+ markets
A German page needs German links. Our outreach team works natively in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Swedish and Danish and knows the publications, directories and PR conventions in each market: in Germany editorial standards and “Sponsored” labelling rules are strict, in France journalist relationships matter more than cold pitches, in the Nordics a small number of high-trust national sites carry most of the weight. We build country-specific link profiles for each language version of your site, with hreflang-consistent targets so authority lands on the right page. See our international SEO services for the full multi-market setup.
Toxic link audit and disavow
Before building new links we check whether old ones are holding you back: links from hacked sites, PBNs a previous agency bought, spammy directories, foreign-language link farms or sitewide footer links with exact-match anchors. We classify every suspicious domain, try to remove what can be removed and prepare a disavow file only where there is a clear pattern of manipulative links, because disavowing harmless links can hurt. If you have an unnatural links manual action in Search Console we handle the cleanup and reconsideration request.
Anchor text and link velocity
Most penalties we clean up were caused by anchors, not by sites: 60% exact-match anchors to a money page is a pattern Google recognises instantly. We plan anchor distribution per target page, usually weighted towards branded and natural phrases with exact-match used sparingly, and we keep link velocity consistent with what your competitors earn so growth looks like what it is: a brand getting more attention.
What you get each month, and when links start to pay off
Clear deliverables and a realistic timeline. Links need to be crawled, indexed and weighed by Google before rankings move, so we plan in quarters, not weeks.

Link building services: frequently asked questions
What marketing managers and founders ask us before they start. For the wider picture see our SEO services.
How many links do I need?
It depends on the gap between you and the pages ranking above you, not on a magic number. In the free backlink audit we compare your target pages with the current top 10: if they average 40 referring domains and you have 8, we know the scale. Most single-market B2B and SaaS sites see movement with 5–15 quality links per month to a focused set of pages; competitive e-commerce and finance niches need more.
How long does link building take to work?
The first links are live within 3–6 weeks. Google needs to crawl, index and re-evaluate the linked pages, so ranking movement typically appears in months 2–4 and measurable traffic growth in months 4–6. Digital PR campaigns compound over 6–12 months as the links age and attract secondary coverage.
Do you guarantee rankings or a number of links?
We guarantee the number of links in your package, their quality criteria (relevance, traffic, editorial placement) and a replacement if a link is removed within 12 months. We do not guarantee rankings, because nobody honest can: Google’s algorithm, your competitors and your own site all play a part. What we do guarantee is full transparency on what we build and what it does.
How much does a link cost?
Link building packages are priced per month, and the effective cost per link depends on the authority level, the market and the tactic. A niche edit on a DR 40 industry blog costs far less than a placement earned through a digital PR campaign in national media, and the two do different jobs. After the audit you get a quote with the expected number of links and their minimum quality criteria, with no 12-month lock-in.
Is link building risky? Can it get my site penalised?
Bad link building can: PBNs, link farms, sitewide footer links and aggressive exact-match anchors are exactly what Google’s link spam systems and manual reviewers look for. Our approach is designed to be penalty-proof: real sites with real traffic, editorial placements, natural anchor distribution and a link velocity consistent with your market. We have never had a client receive a manual action for links we built, and we clean up penalties caused by others.
Do you buy links?
We never buy links from link marketplaces, networks or sites that sell placements to anyone. Some publications charge an editorial or content fee for guest contributions, which is standard in many industries and markets; where that applies we disclose it in the prospect sheet and respect the publication’s labelling rules. The link still has to pass all four quality gates, and most of our placements, especially digital PR and journalist requests, involve no fee at all.
Ready to build links your competitors cannot copy?
Links remain one of the strongest ranking signals, and the most abused. The difference between a profile that compounds for years and one that collapses after the next spam update is the quality of every single placement.
