SERP preview tool.
See it before Google does.
Write your title and meta description and see exactly how they look in Google search results on desktop and mobile, with a pixel-width check so nothing gets cut off.
Your snippet
Your snippet is your ad.
Write it like one.
Rankings get you seen. The title and description decide whether people click you or the result below. Three rules we use for every client page.
Keyword first, promise second
Put the main keyword near the start, then the reason to click. Keep it under about 580 pixels on desktop, roughly 55 to 60 characters.
Answer the search
Use the first 120 characters to answer what the searcher wants. Google often cuts mobile descriptions earlier than desktop ones.
Add a specific detail
Numbers, prices, delivery times or a named result stand out in a list of similar snippets and lift click-through rate.
SERP preview: common questions.
Why does the tool measure pixels, not characters?
Google cuts titles and descriptions by display width, not by character count. A title full of wide letters like W and M gets cut sooner than one with narrow letters, so pixels are the more reliable guide.
How long should a title tag be?
Aim for up to about 580 pixels, which is usually 55 to 60 characters. Longer titles are cut with an ellipsis on desktop.
How long should a meta description be?
Up to about 920 pixels on desktop and 680 on mobile, roughly 150 to 160 characters. Put the most important message first in case it gets cut.
Will Google always show my title and description?
No. Google rewrites titles and descriptions when it thinks another text better matches the search. Clear, accurate snippets that match the page are rewritten less often.
Is this preview exactly what Google shows?
It is a close approximation using Google’s fonts and typical width limits. Google changes its layout from time to time, so treat the limits as a guide, not an exact rule.
